Usually, you can pick up your vehicle half an hour before it is scheduled. Have in mind that it may not be ready yet.
If your plans change beforehand, you can always change the pick-up time in your booking. Changes in your reservation may come at a cost.
It is always important to inform the flight data when making a reservation in BookingCars. Thus, the rental company may check the flight status and retain the vehicle if necessary.
If the flight is canceled, we ask you to contact us as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, flight delays or cancellations are factors out of BookingCars’ control. We cannot take responsibility for problems or additional costs that these situations may lead to.
Unfortunately, we cannot make reimbursements for rental days not used.
Having committed to the complete booking on your behalf, the company expects the vehicle to be used during the whole period. That is why the supplier organizes its vehicles and parking spaces depending on the bookings.
The vehicle is routinely given to the customer with a full tank, therefore it must be returned in the same condition. If not, there will be a fuel surcharge based on the fuel price chart available at the rental office (which is more expensive than at a gas station, so we always recommend filling up the tank before returning the vehicle).
ATTENTION: At BookingCars you will be able to get fees with the “Free tank of fuel” option. Not only is this an economic advantage, but it also saves you the time of going to a gas station before returning the vehicle at the airport. The last few hours of a trip are not easy, so we recommend not adding another task to the list. Just add a full tank to your fee at BookingCars and return the car with an empty tank.
The holder of the reservation will have to contact the rental company and, if the vehicle is not roadworthy, request for a change of vehicle. You can find the rental company’s phone number in the voucher.
You are not allowed to leave the territory where the vehicle has been rented without notifying the rental company. Check with the rental company about their cross-border policy.
IMPORTANT: Check if the damage coverage purchased is valid when the vehicle is in another country.
Yes. You can always pick up a vehicle at one location and drop it off at a different one. In this case, you must pay a “One-Way Fee” or “Return Fee”.
Once you have booked a vehicle, you can always change the pick-up or drop-off location by changing the reservation. You will be charged a One-Way Fee and the rental price may change as well.
If, during your trip, you wish to return the vehicle at a different location, we recommend contacting the rental company directly. You will find the company’s phone number in the rental agreement or in the booking voucher.
Your voucher will show the rental company’s address and the opening hours. If you need more information, we recommend asking the office personnel at the time of pick-up.
The vehicle will probably be checked, but sometimes, if there is no one available to do so, there will be a mailbox to leave the car keys.
